There is no standard definition of the term. My definition of Business Coaching is a genuine business relationship between two or more people that commit and work as a solid team to achieve the same goals.
You, as a client, must be 100% committed to your success, you need to be open minded, willing to adjust (and sometimes change) your business beliefs and happy to try new ways of approaching your business.
I, as your business coach, will be totally committed to your success. My role is to keep you focused as well as to find out what you're passionate about in your business. I also will guide you, mentor you, answer your questions and be there for you whenever you're not sure of the next step.
We, together will work to make a solid plan(s) to achieve your desired goals and make your dreams come true.
Every great person, from sportsmen through to actors and even politicians have advisors, coaches and mentors. It's extremely challenging for a small to medium business to keep up with the fast moving world of business, competition, and the ever changing customer needs. Nowadays, it's even harder with the astonishing speed at which innovations in marketing, sales and management strategies occur.
Today, for any business to prosper they must stay ahead of the pack. It's not enough to just copy your competitors. I'm not suggesting that your business cannot survive without a coach, it can, because it has been without one since it started, but it will be hard for it to grow and thrive without one.
If you read the definition above you will have a pretty good idea of what is all about.
In a nut shell, I'm a member of MAUS, an international coaching organisation that has helped more than 50,000 businesses around the globe. I adopt the same methods and systems provided by this very organisation that has tested them for years and have proven to achieve results.
As your business coach, I will be your board of managers (your marketing manager, your sales manager, your HR manager, your mentor, your partner and most importantly your confidant) but with two differences. First, I am independent and being so, I will give you my honest feedback and tell it like it is. The second difference is you will invest a fraction of what you would have to if you had all those mangers on board.
I will support you, inspire you, challenge you, keep you focused and sometimes gently push you to achieve your goals and make your dreams a reality.
4- Do you offer any no-obligation session and what are the stages of starting the coaching process?
Yes I do.
I understand the fear and the uncertainty you might have. Everybody does when there is an unknown factor, and it increases ten fold when an investment decision has to be made.
When you're done, I will work on your answers and analyse them to produce a report which will indicate where your business is now. Then I will get in touch with you to either email you the report and talk you through it, or better still I will visit you and have a discussion about your business position. Please note that everything at this stage is absolutely FREE. Nothing to loose and everything to win! Normally it will take between 30 minutes to an hour.
If we're both happy about what each of us will be bringing to the partnership (if you're not sure about what I mean go back to the first question), then we will start our official coaching and mentoring programme. We will arrange for another meeting, it will take up to 3 hours, in which I will learn as much as I can about your business, your goals, your challenges and much more.
Based on this and other crucial information, together we will create a step by step plan for the next 12 months and we will implement some powerful tools, techniques and strategies that will take your business to the next level.
Put it this way: would you like long term success or a quick fix?
I assume you would rather the former. For that reason I need to work with you for at least 12 months through a step by step plan. This plan will be covering all areas of your business. Unlike most consultants, (who come for few hours or days, go over your issues in lightening speed, implement some fit all quick fixes and once it's over, there is no one to turn to) I'll be there for you when you are not sure about what to do next.
An added bonus of my long term coaching programme is that after our coaching has finished you will have gained tremendous knowledge, confidence and all the know-how to do it by yourself over and over again!
6- How can you be confident that this will work in my business?
I, as a business coach, am an expert in sales, marketing, advertising, team building, business development and other areas that any business in any industry wherever is in the world should have to be in business. There are more than 300 strategies to increase your profit!
You, on the other hand, are the expert in your industry and in your business. Can you imagine what we can achieve together as a team?
7- What are the areas in the business that you coach in?
There are 3 main areas which I will work on with you. Just remember, your business is unique, and as such, how much time and energy we spend on each area entirely depends on you, your business and your goals.
The business:
Sales: the backbone of any business. By implementing some of the 100's of ways to generate sales, I will help you get great results in this area.
Marketing and Advertising: this is not the book stuff! This is practical, streetwise strategies that will explode your business with sales and profit.
Systems and Business Development: systems will help automate your day to day running of the business so you can work less and still enjoy the profit that's coming from a solid business. The Business Development helps grow your business and expand your share market by developing new products to become one of the leaders in your industry.
The people:
Recruitment and Team Building: the recruitment stage can make or break your business. Get it right and you will enjoy a strong team; a team that's passionate, motivated and that actually care about your business. I will show you the exact process to do this.
Management Development: this stage is for you if you cherish the idea of travelling the world for a long period of time whilst the business is running smoothly as if you're physically working in your business.
The Customers:
Customer Service: it's all about the experience. I will coach you on how to deliver consistently, train your team in this area, and make your customers enthusiastically satisfied. In this area alone, you will generate more clients through hot referrals, the only question here is can you handle them?

8- Can you still coach me if I don't need to work on all areas of my business?
Yes, absolutely! As I mentioned before, each business' needs are unique and my coaching and mentoring programmes are flexible and independent from each other.
Of course, if you want to just sell your business for whatever price you think is fair, then you don't need
to invest in my business coaching and mentoring programme.
If that's not the case, I will coach you on how to make your business ready for sale to attract the best possible selling price.
We are going to work on key value drivers in your business and review your operations in light of many risk factors like business factors, forecast factors and much more...
